REIGN WITH THE RISEN SAVIOUR

Featured Scriptures: Revelation 20:4, Revelation 20:6, Revelation 20:5
They refused the mark. They would not bow to the beast. Some paid for that faithfulness with their lives. Then Revelation turns the picture upside down: those the world appeared to defeat are alive, seated on thrones and reigning with Christ. "Reign With the Risen Saviour" is the sound of apparent loss becoming eternal victory.
Featured on The End Is Glory, "Reign With the Risen Saviour" continues through Revelation 20 from the binding of Satan to the reign of Christ with His saints. Its focus falls particularly on those who remained faithful to Jesus through persecution, refusing to worship the beast or receive its mark. Their suffering does not become the final chapter of their story. Resurrection does.
Revelation 20:4 describes thrones and those given authority to judge, including the souls of believers who had been killed because of their testimony about Jesus and the Word of God. They had refused to worship the beast or receive its mark, and they come to life and reign with Christ for a thousand years. Revelation 20:5 distinguishes this as the first resurrection, while Revelation 20:6 calls those who share in it "blessed and holy", declaring that the second death has no power over them and that they will be priests of God and Christ and reign with Him. Together, these verses transform martyrdom into triumph and faithfulness into participation in Christ's reign.
Thrones of justice. Faithful witnesses raised to life. The mark refused. The serpent stripped of his power to inspire fear. Martyrs becoming crowned ones. Sorrow opening into light. "Reign With the Risen Saviour" deliberately moves its imagery from persecution towards enthronement. Even its recurring contrast carries the message: beasts disappear, earthly thrones collapse, "but Christ remains".
For anyone searching for Christian songs about Revelation 20, the first resurrection, reigning with Christ, the Millennium, the thousand-year reign of Jesus, Christian songs about martyrs, refusing the mark of the beast, the second death, believers as royal priests, resurrection hope, persecution for following Jesus, staying faithful to Christ, victory over the beast, end-times prophecy, the saints reigning with Jesus, or worship songs about the eternal reign of Christ, "Reign With the Risen Saviour" turns Revelation's promise into a declaration of hope. Faithfulness to Jesus may carry a cost in this age, but Scripture's vision does not end with the suffering of the saints. It ends with them alive in the presence and victory of their King.
The beast fades. The throne of Christ remains. The martyrs rise. The second death has no claim upon them. "Reign With the Risen Saviour" looks beyond the cost of faithfulness to its promised end: blessed, holy, raised with Christ and reigning with the risen Saviour.
