THE MARRIAGE FEAST

THE MARRIAGE FEAST

Featured Scriptures: Revelation 19:7-9, Isaiah 61:10, Ephesians 5:25-27

After the judgement comes a wedding. Revelation moves from the fall of Babylon to one of Scripture's most radiant scenes: heaven rejoicing, the Bride made ready and the Lamb receiving the celebration that has been moving towards Him all along. "The Marriage Feast" looks beyond everything that ends and towards the eternal celebration that begins.

Featured on The End Is Glory, "The Marriage Feast" centres on the marriage supper of the Lamb and the relationship between Christ and His redeemed people. Heaven is no longer waiting. The Bridegroom's hour has come. The saints gather, creation worships and those invited to the feast are called blessed. Yet the song makes an important distinction about the Bride's preparation: her radiant clothing is "not our own", but "a gift of grace from You alone".

Revelation 19:7-9 announces that the wedding of the Lamb has come, His Bride has made herself ready and those invited to the marriage supper are blessed. Isaiah 61:10 provides the beautiful prophetic imagery of being clothed with garments of salvation and wrapped in a robe of righteousness, like a bride adorned for her wedding. Ephesians 5:25-27 reveals the love behind that preparation as Christ gives Himself for the Church, sanctifying and cleansing her so that she may be presented to Him radiant and holy. Together, these Scriptures make the marriage feast a picture not merely of celebration, but of Christ's covenant love for the people He redeemed.

A Bride clothed in borrowed brightness. Elders falling before the throne. An angel announcing the blessing. A Bridegroom receiving His people. Morning breaking across the sea. Then every nation joining heaven's song. The imagery of "The Marriage Feast" moves deliberately from preparation to celebration, while its repeated cry, "Holy, holy, worthy is the Lamb", keeps Jesus rather than the wedding itself at the centre of the scene.

For anyone searching for Christian songs about the marriage supper of the Lamb, songs inspired by Revelation 19:7-9, worship songs about the Bride of Christ, Jesus as the Bridegroom, the wedding feast in Revelation, Isaiah 61:10, robes of righteousness, Ephesians 5:25-27, Christ's love for the Church, the return of Jesus, heaven, eternal life, the saints gathered before God's throne, the Lamb of God, or every nation worshipping Jesus, "The Marriage Feast" gives those promises a language of anticipation and praise. It reminds believers that the end of the biblical story is not simply judgement. For those who belong to Christ, the end is communion, celebration and everlasting life with the Bridegroom.

The Bride is ready. The invitation has gone out. The feast is prepared. "The Marriage Feast" leaves us inside Revelation's celebration, where waiting has become welcome and faith has become sight. The end is not darkness. The end is not loss. For the people of the Lamb, the end is glory.
