A Generation United: whispering HOPE⁴ Brings Scripture to Life

NEGOMBO, SRI LANKA – 8 November 2024 – Today, a fresh wave of worship fills the air as whispering HOPE releases whispering HOPE⁴, an album that fuses pop, rock, and hip-hop to bring Scripture alive in bold, contemporary ways. Each track carries a message that strengthens faith, uplifts the spirit, and inspires courage in God’s promises, inviting listeners to engage with God’s Word through music that is both dynamic and intimate.

The album opens with Loved Anyway, celebrating God’s unconditional love and grace, echoing Romans 5:8 and 1 John 4:10, reminding hearts that His arms are always open. Miracles of Jesus invites listeners to see beyond the acts themselves, capturing the awe of Christ’s presence (Matthew 14:13-21; John 2:1-11). Miracle Money proclaims God’s provision, recalling Philippians 4:19 and Psalm 34:10, while By His Stripes, I Rise Again celebrates healing and redemption through Christ’s sacrifice (Isaiah 53:5; 1 Peter 2:24).

Voice of Victory uplifts believers to stand strong in every challenge, echoing Joshua 1:9 and Romans 8:37. Built by Grace honors family and the power of living according to God’s principles, inspired by Proverbs 24:3-4 and Psalm 127:1-2. Eternity encourages reflection on heavenly promises over earthly concerns (2 Corinthians 4:18; Matthew 6:19-21), and The Rapture closes the album with anticipation for Christ’s return (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 22:12-13).

For this project, lyricist and producer Gresha Schuilling reflects on the album’s heart and intention:

"With whispering HOPE⁴, we wanted to capture the tension between longing and fulfillment—the valleys and the victories of faith. Each song is rooted in Scripture, serving as both anchor and compass. My prayer is that these tracks walk alongside people, pointing them back to God’s unfailing love in every season."

Mastering engineer and songwriter Shimron Fernando shares the creative journey:
