Back to Stillness: whispering HOPE Unveils Be Still

Sometimes the deepest act of faith is to stop striving and become still enough to trust.

Be Still, the twelfth release in the whispering HOPE collection, is a five-song Worship Collective EP that moves through stillness, surrender, eternal focus, the keeping power of God and the simple certainty of His goodness. Rather than reaching for louder declarations, the EP draws inward, creating a journey where letting go becomes worship and trust becomes its own kind of praise.

“Take Me Back to Stillness” opens with a longing to return to the quiet place, away from the noise and distractions that compete for the heart. “I Leave It With You” takes the next step, turning stillness into surrender as burdens are released into God’s hands instead of being carried alone.

“Set My Heart Above” lifts the focus from what is temporary to what is eternal, redirecting the heart towards the things of God. “Never Let Me Go” rests in the security of His keeping power, finding confidence not in our ability to hold everything together, but in the God who holds us. “Good Are You” closes the EP where trust ultimately leads, with praise rooted not in changing circumstances but in the unchanging goodness of God.

All five songs were written by Gresha Schuilling, who also created the music and production, with mastering by Shimron Fernando.

For Gresha Schuilling, Be Still is about rediscovering what remains when the noise is stripped away:

“There are moments when faith is not about doing more. It is about becoming quiet enough to remember who God is. These songs move from stillness into surrender, then lift the heart towards eternity and finally into praise. Be Still is about trusting that we do not have to hold everything when we are already being held by Him.”

For Shimron Fernando, that intimacy shaped the sound of the EP:

“The songs needed space. We wanted the quieter moments to remain quiet rather than filling every space, because that restraint is part of what gives the music its emotional weight. The sound allows the words, worship and sense of surrender to stay close.”

Be Still does not ask the listener to escape the noise of life forever. It offers something stronger: a place of trust within it, where burdens can be surrendered, hearts can look higher, and God’s goodness remains unchanged.
