The Sound of Surrender: whispering HOPE Unveils Here Is My Yes

Sometimes surrender is not losing something. It is finally placing everything in the right hands.

Here Is My Yes, the seventeenth release in the whispering HOPE collection, is a five-song Worship Collective EP centred on awe, intimacy, surrender and wholehearted devotion to God. Across the project, worship moves from recognising who He is to responding with a life that says yes.

“Holy Wonder” opens in reverence, drawing the heart into awe before the holiness and greatness of God. “Closer Than Before” moves from wonder into intimacy, expressing the desire not simply to know more about God but to walk nearer to Him.

“Here Is My Yes” becomes the centre of the EP, turning worship into surrender as plans, desires and the future are placed before God with an open-handed yes. “All I Have Is Yours” carries that surrender further, moving beyond a single moment of obedience into the offering of an entire life. “Where You Lead” closes the journey by putting that yes into motion, choosing to follow God beyond certainty and into whatever He has prepared.

All five songs were written by Gresha Schuilling, with music and production by Gresha Schuilling and mastering by Shimron Fernando.

For Gresha Schuilling, Here Is My Yes captures the point where worship becomes more than something we sing:

“There is a moment in worship when admiration becomes response. You see who God is, you want to come closer, and eventually the only honest answer is to give Him your yes. These songs move through that journey. The yes is not just about one decision. It is saying, ‘My life is Yours. Wherever You lead, I will follow.’”

For Shimron Fernando, the sound needed to allow that surrender to unfold rather than force its biggest moments:

“The EP has a natural emotional progression. It begins in wonder, becomes increasingly personal and eventually turns into complete surrender. We wanted the sound to follow that movement so the final sense of commitment feels like somewhere the listener has arrived, rather than something announced at the beginning.”

Here Is My Yes begins with eyes lifted in wonder and ends with feet ready to follow. Between them is the response worship has always been moving towards: not simply a song offered to God, but a life placed in His hands.
