When Heaven Hears: whispering HOPE Unveils Heaven Hears

Some prayers begin in strength. Others begin when strength is gone.

Heaven Hears, the sixteenth release in the whispering HOPE collection, is a five-song Worship Collective EP that captures the places where prayer rises from the middle of the battle and becomes worship. Moving through answered prayer, dependence on God, the authority of Jesus and joy that survives difficult seasons, the EP culminates in praise breaking out before circumstances have the chance to write the ending.

“When We Called Your Name” opens at the point of need, capturing the moment the name of Jesus enters desperate prayer and fear begins to lose its grip. “Need You Closer” moves deeper into dependence, where the presence of God is no longer simply desired but recognised as essential.

“Name Above It All” turns the focus towards Jesus, declaring His name above fear, storms and every battle demanding attention. “Joy That Cannot Fade” finds something circumstances cannot take away, a joy that remains through valleys, scars and seasons of waiting. Then “When Praise Breaks Out” closes the EP by turning what began as prayer into praise, as worship rises in the battle and darkness begins to give way.

All five songs were written by Gresha Schuilling, with music and production by Gresha Schuilling and mastering by Shimron Fernando.

For Gresha Schuilling, Heaven Hears comes from the place where polished words give way to genuine prayer:

“These songs are about the moments when prayer becomes real because you genuinely need God. You call His name, you draw closer, you remember who Jesus is, and somewhere in that process praise begins to rise. The circumstances may not have changed yet, but something inside you has.”

For Shimron Fernando, the sound needed to preserve that movement without losing the intimacy where it began:

“The EP starts from a very close, vulnerable place, and even when the music grows, we wanted to keep that honesty. By the time praise breaks out, it should feel earned, like the natural sound of a heart that has moved through prayer, dependence and trust.”

Heaven Hears begins with a name called in prayer and ends with praise breaking out. Between them is the quiet confidence that makes both possible: God is near, Jesus is above it all, and no prayer offered in faith disappears unheard.
