Where Fire Meets Faith: whispering HOPE Unveils Marked by Heaven

Some things God gives us. Others become part of who we are.

Marked by Heaven, the second release in the whispering HOPE collection, steps into that difference, tracing what happens when faith moves beyond something we believe and becomes something we carry.

Rooted in Scripture, the album moves through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit, divine favour, prayer, salvation, spiritual identity and the kind of faith that remains anchored when life begins to move.

“Spirit Fire” opens with the presence and power of the Holy Spirit, recalling the fire of Acts 2 and the promise of lives transformed by His presence. “Never to Grieve You” turns that encounter inward, asking what it means to honour the Spirit in the way we live, while “Favour Lights My Way” finds confidence in God’s guidance when the road ahead is uncertain. “Mansion in Me” draws closer still, exploring the extraordinary promise of God making His dwelling with His people.

“Bridge to Your Blessings” looks at the unexpected people and relationships through which God’s favour can flow, while “One Hour” calls listeners away from distraction and into the sacred discipline of prayer. “Salvation’s Seal” reaches the heart of the album’s new title, celebrating believers as sealed with the Holy Spirit and secure in God’s covenant promise, before “Anchored Faith” closes with a declaration of trust that refuses to be moved by the storm.

The album’s lyrics were written by Gresha Schuilling, who also created the music and production, with mastering by Shimron Fernando.

Looking back at the heart behind Marked by Heaven, Gresha Schuilling reflects:

“These songs explore so many different expressions of faith, but they all come back to the same reality: God doesn’t simply call us to know about Him. He gives us His Spirit, draws us into His presence, and changes the way we live. I wanted the music to move between fire and stillness because our walk with God holds both.”

For Shimron Fernando, preserving those contrasts became central to the album’s sound:

“There are moments on this album that need to feel powerful and others that need room to breathe. The mastering was about letting both exist without losing the thread that connects them, so the listener can move naturally from declaration into reflection and prayer.”

Marked by Heaven is a reminder that faith is more than a moment of inspiration. It is presence carried, salvation sealed, prayer lived and a life anchored in the One who does not move.
